My connection to the material comes from a place of contact. The work requires direct touch... almost close relations with the material through all its states of accumulation. from soft, primal, smooth or rough material ... through the leather-hard, more stable, soft and not hard. Even after the first fire, the material passes between my hands again...   After all this there is a dimension of magical time, in which the object stays in the kiln and gets its final shape, and than, like a little girl, I return to the areas of my childhood and wait for the cookies to come out of the oven ...

 

When I'm working I'm thinking of the Forms, Formal Adjustments, Stretching the Material Limits, Engraving and Joints, Materials Integration and Use of Various Techniques.

It's work as a delicate string in my work.

I work from a place of searching for harmony and inner peace.

Searching through the material the shapes and possibilities in which ceramics can express tenderness on the one hand and sharpness on the other.

Industrial technique of modeling and casting goes hand in hand with the work of the wheel throwing. When the last one makes me calm, and the initial productive action creates a perfect meditation.
